Marine Liability

Marine liability exposure is comprehensive, and if a company’s business operations are anyway related to marine, its exposure could be endless. Accordingly, many types of tailored liability policies and endorsements exist to provide protection against exposures.

For example, while Charterers Legal Liability provides legal and contractual liability coverage for charterer, Marine Operators Legal Liability provides protection for coastal marina operators and covers damage to private pleasure vessels and other interests on board while in marina operators’ care, custody and control at a specific location on the policy. Terminal Operators Legal Liability covers for damage to cargo while in the care, custody and control of the insured for purposes of import and export.

In short, marine related liability claims may arise from variety of exposures which Orion’s experienced staff can adjust with competence.
